A running titles list (plus videos and more)

Hey there Quokies! Just trying that nickname on…let me know how you feel about it. 😏 First of all, welcome and thank you to all our new subscribers!

I’m so happy that you are here! We’re sending out updates as frequently as we can. This update is somewhat out of the normal box. Let me explain.

So I’m on this “journey” super cliche, I know. But let me tell you, the knowledge level up is so real. I am relearning things I learned a while ago and put them into practice, and learning new things too!

People that I talk with are so helpful! They recommend books, videos, groups, etc., that I should check out, and I also have been keeping a list of resources that I’ve wanted to go through.

I’ve been storing them in my project management tool, but I thought, why not keep the list here so that others can see if they want to use them they can? As I get to them, I try to get to them all. I can reflect on that in a post and update this post with the link.

If you have anything that I should add to this list, drop a comment!

Appreciate you, and hope you’re having a great day.

Besos,

Miriam

Books:

Rocketfuel: This was suggested to me by one of my brothers when I mentioned to him the challenges I’m experiencing building a team. It talks about the role of a “Visionary” and an “Integrator” and why you supposedly need both to be successful.

Videos:

The Five Act Interview: I don’t remember who told me to watch this, but when I did, it was only about 8 minutes, so easy to check off the to-do list, I realized it went along with a book that I also read!

OKR TedTalk: This video about Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) was mentioned to me in a Clubhouse chat. OMG, I remember these from my days in franchising! Super important. Like, duh, I’m still going to watch the video, though, just to see if there is anything new there. Plus, it’s only like 12 minutes long.

Podcasts:

Founders Mentality Podcast: Episode 5 was suggested to me by the host of this podcast during a Founders and Funders Happy Hour.
